Advent is a time to prepare for the coming of the Prince of Peace. Take time to stop the rollercoaster and think of the real meaning of Christmas. Special all day Adoration is being held on the four Saturdays of Advent in the Prayer Room, following 9am Mass and continuing throughout the day until Benediction at 5:30pm. Withdraw from the madness, if only for one hour each week, and enjoy the peace of the Lord this Christmas. Put Christ at the heart of your preparations and celebrations. Come, let us adore him.
Each year at this time The Entrance experiences a great influx of visitors. In our Church the ministry of welcome is not limited to those who greet us in the Church foyer on the way into Mass. If we truly want to be a Church family, then we are all called to make an effort to welcome, to reach out with a smile to newcomers, strangers and those returning to parish life after a time away, making them welcomed by all!
