Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, The Entrance, on behalf of the Diocese of Broken Bay, accepted the challenge in 2004, to develop an Apartment Building consisting of 29 apartments over six floors, at 9 Copnor Avenue, The Entrance (just behind Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church).
Lakesea Apartments is the largest project ever undertaken by this comparatively young parish, which was established in 1947. It also ranks as one of the most ambitious projects ever approved by the Diocese of Broken Bay.

Loan License Agreement
Lakesea Apartments are available for permanent residency, under a ‘Loan License Agreement’ which is briefly described as follows:

The Loan License value of each apartment represents a substantial saving on the value of an equivalent apartment within this precinct. All licensees will have the assurance of permanency, however, should termination of the Loan License be contemplated, the licensee will be repaid the sum of not less than the original value of the Loan License, following termination, in accordance with the Loan License Agreement.
A monthly levy is applicable to each apartment and covers water usage and council rates. The Licensee is responsible for their own personal insurances, electricity use and telephone services.
The Loan License Agreement can be terminated at any time. (In accordance with the Loan License Agreement.)
Loan Licenses are not transferable and will be re-issued only by the ‘Owners’ to a new ‘Licensee’.
All inclusions as confirmed in the formal Loan
License Agreement will remain the property of the ‘Owners’.
The Loan License Agreement has been structured with both legal and accountancy professional scrutiny and will be fully explained at the time of formalisation, with each prospective licensee.
