Acolytes
Ministry of men appointed by the Church to assist the Priest at Mass, Funerals, conduct  Communion Services and distribute Holy Communion to the sick.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Every first Saturday after 9am Mass for one hour. Also all Saturdays during Lent.

Altar Servers
Young people from year 4 upwards who assist at Mass.

Anointing of the Sick
Every first Friday during the 11.45am Mass. 
This sacrament is for the elderly or those with serious illness.

CCD Regional Resource Centre
Confraternity of Christian Doctrine.
Provides resources, training and support for our Catechists in State Schools. The centre is conveniently located within the parish complex.

Cenacle Prayer Group
Meets in the church each Wednesday after 9am Mass. 
The tradition of Cenacles began with Our Lady and the Apostles waiting in prayer in the upper room for the coming of the Holy Spirit.
We pray particularly for our priests being a part of the Marian Movement for Priests.

Social Welfare Agency of the Church. Counselling, information and pregnancy help.
Pre-Marriage Course: A twelve hour course on preparation for marriage.

Franciscans
The Secular (3rd) Order of St Francis of Assisi meets in the Muldoon Room every 2nd Thursday of the month at 1.00pm. Visitors welcome.

Rosary
The Rosary is prayed weekdays in the Church.
Monday to Thursday 8.35am, Friday 11.20am, Saturday 9.30am.

Sacramental Programmes
Parish-based, family-centred programmes on the preparation of children and adults for:
Confirmation - Reconciliation - Eucharist
Adult preparation would usually come under the RCIA programme.

About Our Lady of the Rosary

Since its inception in 1947 the parish has grown and today boasts one of the most beautiful and prayerful Churches in our Diocese. Substantially designed by Fr Reg Reynolds, the parish church caters for the permanent Catholic population as well as the many visitors who holiday here.
